National Adoption Week 2016.

Monday 17 October is the start of National Adoption Week 2016. This year I’m trying to get as many people and organisations involved in our ‘Show some heart for Somerset Adoption’ campaign, and it would mean a lot if you could take part. Last year our 4? campaign generated DOUBLE the number of enquiries we usually get for adoption in a typical month, so it does work, and we would really value your help.

I promise it’s very quick and simple – all you need to do is take a picture of yourself, your team, or someone representing your organisation, either holding the Somerset Adoption heart (attached), or wearing hearts. You’ll then need to email them to pressoffice@somerset.gov.uk by Wednesday 12 October, in time for us to issue them during National Adoption Week (17-23 October). As well as sharing your pictures on the www.fosteradoptsomerset.org.uk website, and Adoption in Somerset Facebook page, we’ll also give you a big thank you in our press release to the media J

Let me know if you can help – we need you!

 Very best wishes,
